" thanks for the beautiful photos of our wedding .... they are fantastic!! .... what can I say ... we had a great day and Jerri and Stan and family & friends were great to work with ... What can one ask for??

Today I spent a wonderful afternoon photographing Julie and Jesse's "Carter" and Angie's "Sophia" as well as Grandparents and great Grandma's ... the kids were GREAT and we got some great snaps ....... Tx Jessie & Julie & Angie for this opportunity.

Jesse and Julie's Wedding

June 5th finally arrived last week. We had all been waiting for our nephew Jesse to marry the radiant love of his life, Julie.
These 2 young people were committed to one another and shared that strong bond with their son Carter. When the 3 looked at each other, love radiated between them. The beautiful couple, embraced by their family and friends, continued the festivities from the church to the Italian Hall for a fabulous reception. Thank you Jesse and Julie for allowing me to capture some of those many special, beautiful moments in the day. Karen & I wish all the best to the three of you as you begin your lives together as a beautiful family.

Shannon's Comments Re her Wedding

Shannon picked up her finished Wedding Album and later emailed me the following.
"Meeting with Don for the first time , was like a friend coming over for coffee. He was very personable and friendly and I knew then and there he was a right photographer for my wedding. Throughout the planning stages of the wedding he was very organized, knew the right questions to ask and as always friendly and joyful.
On the big day, he was awesome. He was again very well-organized, right on time, very patient ( sometimes waiting for me ), joyful (always) and the best part was his experience with weddings. Of course, he did all of photos we wanted. However, the best part was when he asked us to do pictures that we didn't even want, but looking back at the pictures now I'm sure glad he asked us to do them. He knew what he is doing and I'm so happy he was my wedding photographer. Of course the pictures turned out amazing all because of Don's great eye.
I now have a new friend and a great photographer for future events. Thanks again Don."

Even after the years that I've been photographing weddings, when one receives accolades as this, one has to understand why I continue doing them. Thanks Shannon and Robert . It was my pleasure to capture all those special moments for you .

Yesterday I completed Bauer's portraits in his Baptism's outfit. Boy is he growing .... it's a good thing we did it today, as it may not have fit in another week .. I had to sing Lullaby, and Goodnight to relax him .. he wanted to go to sleep but happily the photos were done before that.. Ryen & Tammy ..... you have a beautiful family. Thank you for allowing me to share in photos this special moment.

On Thursday, I photographed the NORWOSSA Girl's team as they finished preparations to go south to compete at the all Ontario Girl's Championship ... Some High School Athletics dream of being on an OFSSA team ...... these ladies under the coaching of my godson David Paddington are about to live that dream. Good Luck gals this weekend.

Tammy and Ryan's Baby Bauer Studio shoot

Monday I had the pleasure of delivering Bauer's photobook with the previews of the 3 week old photos to his Mom Tammy........ he is so small and delicate but as any young baby of that age, he is growing and changing by the hour. I am looking forward to getting him back to the studio in about another month or so when he starts to look like a Gerber Baby. Congratulations to Tammy and Ryan on their beautiful addition to their family and Easton .... remember what I said ... you are the Big Brother now and look after your little brother.

Chanel & Grant's comments re their Wedding Album

The other day I received the following note from a wonderful couple that I had the privilege to photograph at their beautiful wedding. They wrote the following:

Don Bergman is an extraordinary photographer with outstanding artistic abilities, as is portrayed throughout our wedding album. Each and every page of our album consists of amazing photography that only tells the story of our day, but also emulates a feeling of those special moments. In addition to the beautiful portraits taken, it was most impressive how he was able to subtly blend himself into all of the various events, seizing the very spirit of our wedding through his magnificent candid shots. Don captured the entire assets up our wedding day has only a true artist can, and we appreciate his hard work and dedication.

Chanel and Grant .... it was indeed a special day. You are both very special people and the love that you had for one another radiated from both of you. Thank you for letting me share that special day with you capturing those special moments.

Tina & John's Wedding Album

Today I sent John & Tina's final edit of their Love Story album to the printer for completion. When they viewed the slide show representing the pages of their wedding album, they were very visibly pleased shown by the sparkle in their eyes and bload smiles and echoed their feelings with accompaning words/phrases like "perfect", "my oh my", "unbelievable" and "worth waiting for". I had had the pleasure of photographing their wedding this past July. From the moment I arrived at the hairdresser, through the service, some relaxed time on the ridge overlooking the Kam, and at the reception, 2 definite themes prevaded the day ..... the Love of Family and friends, and the fun being shared by all the bridal Party, Parents and friends in celebrating this special day. It was my pleasure to record all the special moments digitally.
Thanks John and Tina .......... what a great experience.

Well here we are on October 19th .... Hunting season is done basically so I can get back at work finishing wedding albums. The Xmas Photo specials are coming up and have to prepare for them.
